Abstract

SOFIA HERTANTY PARDEDE, Influence of Subjective Norm, Sensation Seeking, and Attitude towards Intention to Visit Belitung Island. Thesis, Jakarta, Study Program of Commerce Education, Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. The study was conducted to determine whether there is a positive influence between subjective norms on the intention of visiting Belitung Island, sensation seeking on the intention to visit Belitung Island, and attitude towards the intention to visit Belitung Island. The study involved 240 employees working in the Jend region. Sudirman, MH.Thamrin, Gatot Subroto and Rasuna Said in approximately 9 months starting in October 2016. The research method used is survey method with quantitative approach. Sampling technique in this research using purposive sampling technique. Where after performing the test analysis can be produced for Kolmogorov-Smirnov subjective norms of significance level of 0.452, sensation seeking 0.201, attitude of 0.585 so it can be stated that all data variables are normally distributed. The resulting regression equation for the subjective norm variable is Ŷ = 32.435 + 0.620X1 for the sensation seeking variable, Ŷ = 36.029 + 0.514X2 for the attitude variable, Ŷ = 28,373 + 0.724X3. Classic assumption test using multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test showed that there is no problem multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity, so it can be said that a good and ideal regression equation can be fulfilled. The t test is then generated by t count 10,998> ttable 1,97 for subjective norm (X1), t value is 13.131> t table 1.97 for sensation seeking (X2), and t value is 13.688> t table 1.97 for attitude (X3 ). Thus, it can be concluded the results of t test calculation is a significant effect on the intention to visit Belitung Island. Coefficient of determination obtained for 33.7% for subjective norms, 42% for sensation seeking and 44% for attitude variables, from the test results determination means subjective norms, sensation seeking and attitudes have an influence influence on the intention of visiting PB. So it can be concluded that subjective norms, sensation seeking and attitudes have a positive influence on the intention of visiting Belitung Island.
