Abstract

ABSTRACT HANNASYA WINISTRI FITRIANI. 8105133150. Relationship Between Parenting Style With Creativity At PKP Jakarta Islamic School High School Students. Thesis, Jakarta: Educational Administration Office, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2017. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between Parenting Style with Creativity in SMA PKP Jakarta Islamic School. This research was conducted for 2 months starting from April until May 2017. The research method used is survey method with correlational approach. The population in this study were all students of SMA PKP Islamic School and the researchers took the samples used by 131 students of class XI by using simple random proportional technique. Instruments used to obtain data of variable X (Parenting Style), and variable Y (Creativity) were measured using questionnaires with Likert scale. The data analysis technique started by finding the obtained regression equation is Y = 63,97 + 0,317X. The result of lilifors normality test yield Lhitung = 0,062 while Ltabel = 0,077. Because Lhitung <Ltabel then the variables X and Y are normally distributed. Hypothesis testing with regression significance test result Fhitung equal to 28,13 and Ftabel equal to 3,92. Fhitung (28,13) <Ftabel (3,92) which means the regression equation is significant. The linear regression test yields Ftabel 1.57 while Fcount is 1.29. Fcount (1.29) <Ftable (1.57) so it is concluded that the regression equation is linear. The product moment correlation coefficient test yields r = 0.423. Furthermore, the significance test of correlation coefficient by using t-test, yield t_hitung (5,30)> t_tabel (1,66). Based on the results of this study concluded that there is a relationship between Parenting Style with Creativity in high school students PKP Jakarta Islamic School. With determination coefficient test obtained result 17,90% which mean Parenting Style give effect equal to 17,90% to Creativity. So it can be concluded there is a positive and significant relationship between Parenting Style with Creativity. Keywords: Parenting Style and Creative
