Abstract
Heri Septiawan. The Influence of Corporate Governance and Ownership Structure Against Bank Performance. State University of Jakarta. 2016 This research is aimed to find out the influence of Corporate Governance (CG) mechanism and the ownership structure against banking financial performance. As a industry that has regulations, this research wants to prove that the banking financial performance can be influenced by CG mechanisme and ownership structure, not just it’s complience to the banking regulations. The samples in this research are the banks who registered in BEI 2011-2013 periods. The financial performance of the banks is measured by ROA. CG mechanism are measured by it’s proportion independent commissioner, board of directors, audit committee and the ownership structure by ownership spread proxy. This research finds the CG mechanism and owner structure simultaneously influence the ROA ratio. The independent commissioner and institutional ownership partially show nothing to the ROA ratio, meanwhile the boards of director and audit committee shows a positive influence towards the ratio of ROA.
