Abstract

MEITA SUCI RAMADHANI. The Influence of Family Environment and School Environment to Learning Motivation of Students in SMK Negeri 2 South Tangerang. Skripsi. Jakarta. Concentration in Accounting Education, Departement Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2016. Learning activity is an activity that requires a driving force in the form of goals in the run commonly referred to as motivation. The purpose of this research is to determine how much influence the family and school environment for learning motivation of students in SMKN 2 South Tangerang. This type of research is survey, with quantitative approach.Data collection techniques used in this research is questionnaire. The population in this research are students of SMK Negeri 2 South Tangerang, and the population of inaccessibility is the class XI of students majoring in accounting with sample 84 respondents. Hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis, which previously conducted analysis of test requirements including normality test, linearity, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and heteroskedastisitas. The result of this research suggests that family environment, school environment and learning motivation of student in SMKN 2 South Tangerang is low that is 50% of respondents have a score that is still below the average. The results of the analysis showed: (i) there is a significant effect of family environment to learning motivation, (ii) there is no significant effect of the school environment to learning motivation, (iii) there is a significant effect of the family and school environment to learning motivation with the value of correlation r xy equal to 0,459 showed a positive correlation. Through analysis of data obtained F count = 10.798> Ftable = 2,717. Determinant coefficient (r 2 ) of 0.2104, this means that 21.04% variable of family and school environments affect to learning motivation as simultan. And then known that the family environment contribute effectively 1.21% and the school environment contribute effectively 20 07%, as well as shown by the equation Y = 55.704 + 0,006X1 + 0,359X2. Based on this results expected the school may cooperate with parents in fostering and encouraging learning that student achievement can be better by create a conducive learning environment either within the family or in the school environment.
