Abstract
Yanthi, Aisyah Rachma. Relationship between Parenting Style with Achievement Motivation Grade 12 Accounting in Vocational High School 48 Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Accounting Education Concentration, Economic Education Study Program, Economic and Administration Department, Economic Faculty, State University of Jakarta. 2015. This research was aimed to obtain valid and reliable data about Relationship between Parenting Style with Achievement Motivation Grade 12 Accounting in Vocational High School 48 Jakarta. This research was conducted by survey method and correlational approach. This research was conducted on October to December 2014. The population in this research were all students in Vocational High School 48 Jakarta. Affordable population in this research were Grade 12 Accounting students with totaling 66 students. Total of samples used were 56 students. Sampling technique used proportional random sampling. The instrument used in this research is a form of questionnaire with 38 statements for parenting style variable and 43 statements achievement motivation variable. Based on analysis requirements test, data is normally distributed and linear with regression equation Ŷ = 110.62 + 0.52X. Data was declared normal because result of L < L table with the number of L count is 0.0679 and L with 5% significant level and n = 56 is 0.1184. Based on regression linearity test, data showed that result is linear because F count < F table with the number of F table count is 0.45 and F 1.88. In hypothesis testing, the result showed that the significance of the regression test has significance because F count > F table with the number of F count tabel is 10.43 and F is 4.02. Correlation coefficient test that was also carried out obtain a yield of 0.4024, which means that there is a fairly strong relationship between parenting style with student achievement motivation. Based on the correlation coefficient significance test (t test) result that there is a positive relationship between the two variables because result of t count > t table with the number of t count is 3.230 and t with n - 2 = 2.005. In addition, based on the calculation of the coefficient of determination obtained yield was 0.1619, which means that 16.19% of parenting style can influence student achievement motivation while the rest influenced by other variables that are not described in this research.
