Abstract

Firly Fauziyah. Correlation between Self Confidence with Achievement Motivation of Students in SMK Negeri 50 Jakarta. Skripsi. Jakarta: Concentration in Accounting Education, Department of Economics And Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2015. The aim of this research is to determine the correlation between self confidence with achievement motivation of students in SMK Negeri 50 Jakarta by using empirical data and facts are valid and reliable. This research conduct at SMK Negeri 50 Jakarta. The research method used is survey method. The population in this study is students of Accounting SMK Negeri 50 Jakarta as many as 72 people. The sample used as many as 61 people. The sampling technique in this study is proportional sampling. To get data from two variables, researcher using likert scale model for self confidence (variable X) and achievement motivation (variable Y). Regression equation in this research is Ŷ = 33,40 - 0,76X. From this equation test requirements analysis conducted by normality test error estimate the regression of Y on X obtained by Liliefors L count < L (0,0301 < 0,1134). It mean the data are normally distributed. On the linearity the regression test we got the result F table (0,96) < F = (1,84) which can be conclude that the regression model is linear. As for the meaningful test obtained F table count (33,27) > F (4,00), indicating that the regression equation means. The test result by using a correlation coefficient of Pearson product moment values obtained r xy table = 0,6005. This means there is a negative relationship between self confidence with achievement motivation of students of Accounting in SMK Negeri 50 Jakarta. From the t-test calculations obtained t count = 5,768 > t = 4,004 indicating a significant relationship between self confidence (variable X) with achievement motivation (variable Y). From the calculation results obtained 36,06% coefficient of determination so that it can be said that the achievement motivation variable Y is determined by the variable X self confidence of 36,06%.
