Abstract

HELDA MELLIANTHA. The Relationship Between Parent’s Social Support Perception and Student’s Stress on Facing National Examination in 12th Grade Accounting Majors at Smk Pgri 1 Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Accounting Education Concentration, Program Study Education of Economics, Economics and Administration Program, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta 2015. This research was aimed to obtain valid and reliable data about the relationship between parent’s social support perception and student’s stress on facing National Examination in 12 th grade accounting majors at SMK PGRI 1 Jakarta. This research was conducted by survey method with correlational approach. This research was conducted on November to Januari 2015. The population in this research were all students at SMK PGRI 1 Jakarta. Affordable population in this research were the students on 12 th Grade Accounting Majors, amount to 124 students. Total of samples used were 94 students research. Sampling technique used proportional random sampling. The instrument used in this study form of a questionnaire with 35 statements to variable of stress and 31 statements to variabel of parent’s social support. Based on test requirements analysis, the data is normally distributed by linier regretion equation Ŷ = 199,55 - 0,67X. Data were expressed normally as a result of L count < L table with the number of L is 0,0493 and L with a significant level of 5 % and n = 94 is 0,0914. Based on the regression linearity test , the data showed that the results of the linear from of F count table < F table with the results of the calculation of F count count of 0,76 and F 1,67. Based on hypothesis testing, regression to test the significance of the data showed that regression has significance or significant that the calculation results showed that the F count > F table with F count is 33,08 and F is 3,94. Correlation coefficient test results obtained from the calculations that r table is -0,5146, which means that there is a negative relationship between parent’s social support and student’s stress. Based on the correlation coefficient significance test showed that t xy is 5,7568 and t on n–2 = (94-2) = 1,986. This means that there is a significant relationship between the two variables as the result of t table count > t . Based on the calculation of the coefficient of determination for both variables produce 0,2648 which means that 26,48% parent’s social support can affect student’s stress on facing National Examination while the remaining is influenced by other variables that are not described in this research.
