Abstract
INDAH WIDYOWATI. The Influence of Leverage and Firm Size toward Firm Value in Mining and Agriculture Companies Listed on IDX in 2013. Script, Department Economic and Administration, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta. 2015. This study aims to finding out The Influence of Leverage and Firm Size toward Firm Value in Mining and Agriculture Companies Listed on IDX in 2013. The hypothesis of this study is: There is Influence of Leverage and Firm Size toward Firm Value in Mining and Agriculture Companies Listed on IDX in 2013. The method of this study used a quantitative approach. This study population are the entire Mining and Agriculture Companies Listed on IDX in 2013. Sampling technique used simple random sampling as many as 45 samples. Based on the findings of the regression coefficient test simultaneous, the value is (76,551 > 3,220) with a sig. of 0,000 it can be conclude that leverage and firm size has simultaneous effect on firm value. While the findings of the partial regression coeffiecient test, leverage is -3,396 < t -2,018 and sig. 0,002 < 0,05 it can be conclude that leverage has negative effect significantly on the firm value, for firm size 11,965 > t tabel tabel 2,018 and sig. 0,000 < 0,05 it can be conclude that firm size has positive effect significantly on firm value. Hypothesis states that either simultaneously or partially both of the independent variable effect the dependent variable of the study. One independent variable has negative effect, while another independent variable has positive effect on dependent variable of the study.
