Abstract
ABSTRACT ADHIE PUTRA AKBAR. “The Influences of imported and local sugars prices against the demand of import sugar in Indonesia.” Thesis. The Education of Cooperation Economic. Economic and Administration Major. Faculty of Economic. State University of Jakarta. 2015. Lecturer Advisor : Sri Indah Nikensari, SE, M.Si, and Dicky Irianto, SE, M.Si. This research is purposed to analyze the influence of the prices of imported and local sugar against the demand of import sugar in Indonesia. The data used in this research are the secondary data, that type of time series data for 2005-2014 periods, presented in kuartal data, source from Ministry of Agriculture of Republic of Indonesia and Ministry of Trading of Republic of Indonesia. The methods of this research are expose facto. The technique of data analysis in this research is the multiple regression analysis. Based on multiple regressions by using SPSS 16.0 SPSS software, the output has indicated the imported sugar prices (X1) is negatively and significantly affected to the number of demand on imported sugar (Y) in Indonesia. While, the prices of local sugar (X2) is positively and significantly affected to the number of demand on imported sugar (Y) in Indonesia. Based on the test with respect to F significant value = 0,001<0,05, it can concluded that the prices of imported and local sugar as togetherness is significantly affected on a = 5% against to the number of demand of imported and local sugar in Indonesia. Determination coefficient value that obtained is 0,775, it means that the changes of demand of imported sugar could be explained by the changes of the price of imported and local sugar as amount 77,5 %. While, the rest could be explained by others factor that can not mentioned in this research model. Keywords : Imported sugar demand, Imported sugar prices, local sugar prices.
