Abstract

ABSTRACT ARIE PRATIWI. Influence Education Level and investment credit Of The Economic Growth In West JavaProvince. Faculty of Economics State University of Jakarta. 2014. This study aimsto determine the influenceof the level ofeducationand investment crediton theeconomic growthin West JavaProvince, consists of 17 districts and nine cities using data for five years from 2008-2012. Types of data used are secondary data and quantitative. Data collection as the sample ex post facto method using panel data which combines time series and cross section. Data are presented each year obtained from BPS (Central Bureau of Statistics)and Bank of Indonesia. Data analysis method used is panel data. Fixedeffect results obtained equationLnPDRB=5,908 + 1,957 LnEDU + 0,065 LnKRD. Based on the result obtained by simultaneous is known that the level of education and investment credit significantly influence the economic growth in the West Java Province. Based on the result obtained by partially is known that the level of education has positive and significant effect on the economic growth in West Java Province and investment credit has a positive and significant effect on theeconomic growth in West JavaProvince. R2 value of0,734indicates that73%of economic growth in West JavaProvince can be explained by thetwo independent variableseducation levels and investment credit while the remaining0,1% is influenced by other factors outside the research model.
