Abstract

ABSTRACT Rizka Dwi Khoirunisa. Correlation Between Locus of Control with Empowerment of PT Balina Agung Perkasa Employees at Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentrations of Education Administrative Offices, Educational Studies Program in Economics, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2012. This study aims to determine the correlation between Locus of Control with Empowerment of employee’s at PT Balina Agung Perkasa. This research was conducted for three months starting from November until Januari. The method used is survey method with correlational approach. The population is employees of PT Balina Agung Perkasa at Jakarta. The sampling technique is simple random sampling with 65 respondents. The instrument used to obtain data on variable X (Locus of Control ) was measured using a Likert Scale. For variable Y(Empowerment) use was measured using a Likert Scale data from PT Balina Agung Perkasa. The data analysis technique starts by looking for a simple regression equation and the regression equation Y = 45,62 + 2,991X while the test requirements of the analysis are the estimated regression error normality test Y on X with L obtained Liliefors test count (0,072) < L (0,119), this means that samples come from normally distributed population. Test of significance and linier regression by using the table Analysis of Variance (ANAVA) test was obtained regression equation F hitung (19,33) > F tabel tabel (4,03) which states that the regression is very significant and regressions that produce linierity test F (0,75) < F (2,41) which indicates that the model uses linier regression. Correlation coefficient hypothesis tests conducted using the formula r tabel Product Moment by Pearson yield of 0,517; this means the relationship between two variables is strong. Tests of significance with t count equal to 4,40 and t value of 1,68. Because t count > t from the above study, the researcher can conclude that there is a significant relationship between the Locus of Control with Empowerment. Test determination coefficient KD of 26,73 %. yield. So it is concluded that there are positive relationship between the Locus of Control with Empowerment PT Balina Agung Perkasa.
