Abstract
ABSTRACT FATIMAH AZZAHRAH. 8105101812. Effect of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) and literacy rate (AMH) Against Poverty in Banten province. Jakarta: Economic Education Cooperative Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2015. This study aims to determine the effect of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and literacy rate (AMH) Against Poverty in Banten Province in 2009 and 2013. The method used is exposed facto method using panel data that is a combination of time series data and cross section. The calculation model used is Common Effect. Simultaneous analysis results obtained GDP and literacy rate (AMH) significantly affect the number of poor people in the province of Banten. Based on the analysis of the partial results obtained GDP significantly positive effect on the number of poor people, and AMH negative bepengaruh significantly to the number of poor people. Variations influence of two independent variables can be known by R2 value of 0.67, thus, 67% of variations in the level of poverty is influenced by GDP and literacy rate (AMH) while the remaining 33% are influenced by other factors outside the research model.
