Abstract

ABSTRACT NURUL AZIZAH. The influence of the number of tourists and the Numberof Vehicles Against Local Revenue in Bengkulu Province Years 2009 - 2013. Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, in 2014. This study aimed to examine the effect of the number of tourists and the number of vehicles onlocalrevenue inBengkuluProvince Years 2009- 2013. This study uses expo facto method using panel data which combines the data time series and cross section. The data needed to calculate the local revenue is by adding local tax, retsibusi areas, profit from local enterprises, and local revenues other legitimate. The data regarding the number of tourists, the number of motor vehicles, as well as the local revenues derived from the province's annual report 2009 up to 2013from the BPS. This study uses panel data regression model obtained equation random effect results LnPAD =17.019 + 0,145LnJW + 0,474LnJKB. Based on the analysis simultaneously, the number of tourists and the number of vehicles significantly affect local revenues in Java. Based on the analysis of partial results, thenumber of tourists significantly positive effect on revenue and the number of vehicles significantly positive striving to local revenues. Variations influence of two independent variables can be determined based on the value of R2 of 59.79%. Thus, 59.54%variation in income are native to the area affected by the number of tourists anvehicles while the remaining 40.46% influenced by other factors outside the research model.
