Abstract
ABSTRACT TIARA FAMELIA. Effect of Cost of Education and Profesional Teacher on Quality of Education in Indonesia Junior High School year 2009-2013. Education of Economics Cooperative, Major Economics and Administration, Faculty Of Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2015 This research to aim the effect cost of education and professional teacher on quality of education in Indonesia Junior High School. This study uses Ex post facto research. This research use panel data with combine time series and cross section data, with secondary data that had published by Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) and Ministry of Education and Culture. Estimation data with chow test and hausman test. This research use average score of National Examination on Junior High School educational level per provice in Indonesia for quality of education variable. Average educational cost spend by perents for cost of education variable, and The number of teacher certification between provinces in indonesia year 2009-2013. The result is cost of education have significant positive effect on quality of education, profesional teacher have significant positive effect on qualitiy of education. The equation is Y = -1.869957 + 0.563848 LnX1 + 0.138207 LnX2. This equation means if variable cost of education increase 1 percent will influence quality of education increase for 0,563848, and if variable profesional teacher increase 1 percent will influence quality of educarion increase for 0.138207. The R square value is 0.795119 indicate that 79,51% quality of education explained by both independent variable, those are cost of education and profesioanl teacher.
