Abstract
ABSTRACT SUCI WULANDARI. The Different Academic Achievement Of Part-time Worker Students and Non-Worker Students at Economics Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentration in Office Administration Education, Study Program of Economics Education, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2012. The research healed at Economics Education Study Program, State University of Jakarta on February until June 2012. The purpose of this research is to get a right knowledge (authentic, exact, valid) and trustable (reliable, and based on reality) about the difference of academic achievement between part-time student and non-worker student. The method of this research is non-experimental method with comparative approach. The population in this research is all of the economics education study program, state university of Jakarta students and the reach population research was student of the economics education study program in the years study of 2009 with total 204 students. From that reach population, known 131 non-worker students and 54 part-time students. And then the count for sampling used was 87 non-worker students and 36 part-time students. In normality experiment with lilliefors formula for variable X max = 0,0976, L table for n = 36 with significant value 0,05 is 0,1477. L (0,1477 > 0,0976). So, can be concluded that the data is distributed normally. Beside, for variable X 2 , gets L o max = 0,0486, L table table for n = 87 with significant value 0,05 is 0,0950. L table > L (0,0950 > 0,0486). So, can be concluded that the data is distributed normally. Next, based on the value of homogeny experiment with F experiment, gets F o count = 1,6158 and F = 1,67, so 1,67 > 1,6158 (F table > F count table (0,05; 86/35) ). From all of this, can be concluded that both of sample from academic achievement variable had homogent data. For the hypothesis, based on the value of independent-t-test using pooled varian, gets t = 3,83, and with dk = 121 and significant value (a) 0,05 for two tail test then t count 0,975 = 1,98, so 1,98 < 3,83 (t table < t ). From all of this, can be concluded that there is a different academic achievement of part-time worker students and non-worker students. Following from this research, the conclusion is there was the difference of academic achievement between part-time students and non-worker students.
