Abstract

Adelia Paramita. The Correlation Between Parents Parenting with Self-Concept Of Student In Department Of Accounting Of state Vocational School 40 Jakarta. Pre Thesis. Jakarta. Study Program of Economic Education, Concentration in Accounting Education, Department of Economic and Administration, Faculty of Economic, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, July 2013. This research conducted to describe the correlation between parents parenting with self-concept at SMKN 40 Jakarta. This research uses the quantitative research with an ex post facto data and a correlation approach. While proportional random sampling is research techniques. The attainable populations are the students of SMKN 40 Jakarta, class XI Competence Program of Accounting, consist of two classes with 79 students in total. Based on Isaac and Michael table, sample used in this research are 652 students, with 31 students to accounting class 1 and 31 students for accounting class 2. Regression equations result is Ŷ = 60,31 + 0,41X. By virtue of that equation, normality test by using liliefors test results, L o < Lt (0,0637 < 0,1125). It shows that the data had been normally distributed. For linearity regression test, the result is Fh < Ft (0,56 < 1,86), so, it indicated that the data had been linear. While for the regression significant test, the result is Fh > Ft (15,55 > 4,00). It indicated that the data had been significant. The result of correlation coefficient test of product moment by Pearson is r = 0,455, which it means there is a positive correlation between Parents Parenting with self-concept. The calculation of t-test showed that t xy > t table , 3,96 > 1,67. It shows there is a significance correlation between parents parenting with self-concept at SMKN 40 Jakarta. The calculation of determination coefficient test results 20,73% so that self-concept effected by the parents parenting at the rate of 20,73% Can be concluded this study shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between Parents parenting and self-concept to learn at SMKN 40 Jakarta.. For researchers are expected to develop this research further by using more samples or by adding another variable that becomes one of the other factors. Expected to perform a variety of research, in high school or middle school or elementary school.
