Abstract
AYU MEGAWATI. Correlation between Intelligence with Autonomy in Learning at Class X Accounting SMK N 12 Jakarta. State University of Jakarta. 2012. The aim of this research is to determine whether there is a relationship between intelligence with autonomy in learning at class X accounting SMK N 12 Jakarta. The research was conducted at SMK N 12 which is located in North Jakarta Tanjung Priok for one months from April 2012. The method used is the observation with the correlational approach. The research population were all of students SMK N 12 Jakarta. While the affordable population is class X accounting as many as 72 students. The samples taken were 62 students drawn from a population with a reasonable error rate of 5%. The sampling technique is a simple random sampling. To measure the variable Y (Autonomy in Learning) using a Likertscale questionnaire form. Prior research tested the validity of the 60 items statement, after validated there are 18 items that drop, thus the criteria or a valid statement as many as 42 items. Calculation of reliability using Cronbach Alpha formula, obtained by 0.88. While the data variable X (Intelligence) was obtained from IQ test scores of accounting class X SMK N 12 Jakarta. Hypothesis testing is then performed. To test the significant regression obtained Fcount (61,16) > Ftable (4,00). This shows that the regression is significant. While the linearity test result Fcount (1,79) < Ftable (1.81). This means that the calculated regression model is linear. For product moment correlation coefficient rxy yield of 0.71 followed by a significant test of correlation coefficients using the ttest is obtained at 7,81 and Ttable at 1,645. Because Tcount >Ttable then there is a significant relationship between intelligence of students with autonomy in learning at class X accounting SMK N 12 Jakarta. For the coefficient of determination (KD) of 50.45%. This research shows that autonomy in learning is determined by the student's intelligence by 51%. Conclusions of this research is there is a positive correlation between the intelligence of students with autonomy learning.
