This research is aimed to describe describe the venture capital financing, SME’s development and to examine the effect of venture capital financing for SME’s development in Jakarta. The data was collected by distributing questionnaires and doing an interviews. This research had been done for SME which located in Jakarta and which became an investee company PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani Venture Capital. This research used a survey method with the correlational approach. The study population was all SME which became an investee company to PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani totaling of 115 units. Meanwhile, the sampling technique used census totalling of 27 samples. The data analysis begins with the search for a simple regression equation and obtained a regression equation Y = -207,03 + 14,919lnX. While testing the normality test requirements analysis error estimates of regression Y on X using Liliefors test obtained L count (0,1686) <L table (0,174), this means that the sample comes from a normal distributed population. The linierity significance test and regression analysis using the table of variance (ANAVA) F value obtained regression equation (34,71) > F (4,24) which states very significant regression and regression linearity test that produces F count (-13,57) <F table (3,42) which indicates that the regression model used is linear. Hypothesis testing is done with a correlation coefficient of relationship with the product moment formula for generating rxy 0.762. Then test with a significance of 5,89 and Ttable of 1,71. Because tcount > ttable , it was concluded that there is a significant relationship between venture capital financing to SME development in Jakarta. KD determination coefficient test result of 0, 5813, this means that the variation of the variable Y (SME development) is affected by the variable X (venture capital financing) amounted to 58,13% The results of this research have showed the positive influence and significant venture capital financing for SME development. It has showed that the higher financing undertaken the development of the business will also be high. Keywords : SME Development, Venture Capital Financing
