Abstract
Sinta Nuryanti. Correlation Between Achievement Motivation With Adjustment of Students in Department of Accounting of State Vocational Secondary School 3 Jakarta. Skripsi. Jakarta: Concentration in Accounting Education, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economic, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2013. Adjustment process in the learning activities do not always go well. One of the things that influence is achievement motivation. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to determine that the adjustment of students can be predicted by the existence of an achievement motivation possessed by each student. This research will be conducted at State Vocational Secondary School 3 Jakarta. Affordable population numbering 69 students were taken from the students of class XI in Department of Accounting are Accounting 1 and 2. According to the table with Isaac and Michael with confidency rate of 95% and an error rate of 5% of the population is affordable, then the samples taken by 55 students. This research will use a survey method with the correlational approach. Achievement motivation and adjustment as measured by various indicators and data acquisition using a questionnaire in the form of Likert scale. Based on the calculation, obtained by linear regression equation Y = 90,06 + 0.44 X where a = 90,06 and b = 0,44. For the calculation of normality test data can be obtained Lhitung greatest value 0,0665 and Ltabel 0,119 so it can be concluded that the error on the estimated regression Y on X is normally distributed. The calculations show (Fh) 0,38 < (Ft) 1,94. This means that Ho is accepted and linear regression models. Based on the calculation of Fo 12,70 and Ft 1,03 which means that Ho is rejected and the sample declared having the regression mean. In addition, the calculation results obtained r = 0,4387 which indicates that there is a positive relationship between Achievement Motivation with Adjustment. Calculation results obtained t hitung 3,55 but t xy 1,68 mean while Ho is denied that the correlation between variables X and Y are positive and significant. Calculation results obtained coefficient of determination of 0,1925 so it can be said that the variable Y Adjustment determined by the variable X Achievement Motivation by 19,25% and the rest is determined by other X variables
