Abstract

ABSTRACT NUR AMALIA. Correlation between Training and Education with Productivity by Employee at PT FSCM Manufacturing Indonesia Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta : Concentrations of Education Administrative Offices. Majoring in Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, (December) 2012. This research aimed to determine whether there is a correlations between training and education on employee productivity at PT FSCM Manufacturing Indonesia. This research was conducted over two months in November-December 2012. The method used is a survey method with the correlational approach. The population of this study were all 60 people production employees of PT FSCM Manufacturing Indonesia, of the total employees 626 people. Samples used as many as 51 employees by using simple random technique (simple random sampling technique). The instruments used in this research is secondary data both variable X (education and training) and Y variable (productivity). This method is used to obtain data from training and education on employee productivity. The results of the secondary data processing obtained highly reliable data for use. Test requirements analysis obtain the regression similarities Ý = 54.58 + 0.393 X. The result of lilliefors normality test generate Lcount = 0,044 while Ltabel for n = 51 at the 0.05 level is 0.124, and the variables X and Y are normally distributed because Lcount < Ltable . Significancy test and regression hypothesis generate Fhitung (12.90) >Ftable (4.04), which means that the regression similarity was significant. Linearity of regression test produces Fcount (1.26) <F table (1.67) that show the regression model that used was linier. Correlation coefficient test using t-test, generate Tcount (3.59)> Ttable (1.68).The results of these research concluded that there is a positive correlations between training and education on employee productivity. And the result from coefficient of determination or decisive test obtained 20.83% in employee productivity variable (Y) is determined by education and training (X).
