Abstract

This research aims to find out whether the participation of labor and infrastructure has an impact on economic growth in the ASEAN countries that Lower middle income (Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam). The research method used is the time series data from the year 2000 to 2013 and data cross section 3 the countries that became members of ASEAN are low-middle income, with ex post facto approach. Data presented can get from the Worldbank, which is accessible through the website at www.worldbank.com. This research uses data regression model the panel obtained from the common effect equations EG=-1,527 0.074 L 0.067 INF e. Based on the results of the regression analysis in partial note that labour and infrastructure had an positive influence to economic growth in the countries of Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam. Based on the results of the regression analysis simultaneously, labour and the infrastructure had positive influence and significantly to economic growth. Influence of variation of the free variables can be found as the results R2 of 0.32 meaning labor Participation as (X1) and Infrastructure as a (X2) are able to explain Economic Growth (Y) of 32%, and the rest is explained by other variables outside of a research model.
