Abstract

ABSTRACT Anwar Siburian, 2012; The effect of Earning Per Share (EPS), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return On Equity (ROE), and Price to Book Value (PBV) towards Stock Return in Food and Beverages Industry 2007-2010. Skripsi, Jakarta: Financial Management concentration, Management Study Program, Management Department, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Earning Per Share (EPS), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return On Equity (ROE), and Price to Book Value (PBV) towards stock return in food and beverages industry both partially and simultaneously. Samples of this study are 17 companies of food and beverages industry which are listed in Indonesia stock exchange since 2007 up to 2010. The data was analyzed by using regression analysis of panel data, which was preceded by classic assumption test which is consist of normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test. The data was examined by using panel data, but to examine the hypothesis, T test and F test are used. The results of this study is earnings per share and price to book value has a effect to stock return, but not significantly while debt to equity ratio and return on equity, has a significantly effect to stock return on food and beverages industry.
