Abstract

ABSTRACT Martinus Wibowo, 2014 Effect of Beta, Inflation, and Exchange Rate Of Return on Equity Shares are listed on the LQ-45 index period 2009-2012. Thesis, Jakarta: Finance Concentration Management, Program Management, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, University of Jakarta. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of beta, inflation, and exchange rate on stock returns either partially or simultaneously. The samples in this study were thirty companies listed in the LQ-45 index in the 2009-2012 period. These results indicate that the beta had no significant effect on stock returns, while inflation and the exchange rate has a significant and positive influence on stock returns. The results of this study also showed that beta, inflation, and exchange rates simultaneously affect the stock return. Keywords: beta, inflation, exchange rates, returns, LQ-45
