Abstract
ABSTRACT Susan Yuliana, 2014; The Effect of Growth Opportunity, Leverage, Liquidity, and Firm Size on Profitability : Evidence from Manufacture Firm Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2009-2012. Thesis, Jakarta: Concentration of Financial Management, Study Program of Management, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purpose of this study is to know the effect of Growth Opportunity, Leverage, Liquidity, and Firm Size on Manufacture Firm Profitability listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2009-2012. The sample is from 108 companies. The research model in this study employs panel data analysis with random effect model approach. The empirical result shows that growth opportunity has positive and not significant effect on profitability, leverage has negative and not significant effect on profitability, liquidity has positive and significant effect on profitability, and also firm size has negative and not significant effect on profitability. Simultaneous test shows that growth opportunity, leverage, liquidity, and firm size effects the profitability.
