Abstract
ABSTRACT Nesia Afifah, 2012; The Relationship Between Unemployment Level and Education Level with Poverty Level in Papua Province (Case Study in 28 Distrincts and 1 City in 2007-2009). Skripsi: Jakarta, Human Resource Management Concentration, Management Study Program, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 28 districts and 1 city in Papua province were taken was observation area of research to determine the relationship of unemployment level and education level with poverty level. After years of research from 2007-2009 time series of proxy variables showed that unemployment level associated with all proxies of poverty level unless proxy TPAK has no significant relationship with all proxy from poverty level and proxy TPT has no significant relationship with the proxy PPKR. So did all of proxy variables education level have a relationship with all proxies of poverty level variables, except proxy AMH does not have a relationship with PRM and the proxy APSSMP has no significant relationship with proxy PPKR. Suggestions are given for further research is necessary to add a variable and a proxy of poverty in order to accurately determine the condition of the province. And advice to the Provincial Government is more developing entrepreneurial characteristics associated with natural resources that exist in the Papua province, to balance supply and demand more jobs and develop formal and informal education sector.
