Abstract
AGAM SOULTAN. 2009. 8323097632. Peranan Informasi Akuntansi Dalam Pengambilan Keputusan Pembelian Mesin Baru. Program Studi DIII Akuntansi. Jurusan Akuntansi. Fakultas Ekonomi. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The information is important factor for organizational activity. Information needed by human being to lessen the uncertainty in decision making. Decision making always concerning to next period, containing uncertainty, and always concerning to chose a available alternative. That cause, decision making always try to collect the information to lessen the uncertainty in chose the alternative action. This paper has a purpose to get knowledge about the role of management accounting information in decision-making of new engines purchases on PT FSCM Manufacturing. The method used in this research is analytical description by attaining data through literature studying, observation and interviews. From the research it is known that PT FSCM Manufacturing implements management accounting information in decision-making to purchase new engines. This is revealed in the calculation of the accounting and management section before engines purchases decision.
