Abstract

Accounting for fixed asset is one issue that needs to get management’s attention in supporting all the activities of business units. It required accounting and recording procedures of how to obtain adequate, recognition of the value, spending on care for the depreciation. Companies also need to consider the case of depreciation in the economic value of fixed assets owned. This paper aims to see the influence of different methods of depreciation of fixed asset from the company’s financial statements. Because in order to achieve the company target, the company most be able to applied a correct depreciation method on their fixed assets. This matter caused by plant asset accountancy represent one of the component which so important to be used to execute activity of company operation so that can be obtained by added value capable to support business unit financial statement.
