Abstract
ABSTRACT Dwi Yunita Sari, 2015: The Influence of Sales Growth, Business Risk, and Asset Structure Towards Capital Structure (Empirical Studies on Manufacturing Industry in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2013) Advisors: (I) Ratna Anggraini, SE, Akt., M.Si, CA; (II) Indra Pahala, SE, M.Si. This research aims at examining the influence of sales growth, business risk, and asset structure toward capital structure on manufacturing industry in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2013. This research uses secondary data which is the audited financial report of the company. The sample used is based on purposive sampling which are 69 companies qualified in this research. This research uses Fixed Effect Model (FEM) on multiple linear regression analyses method to examine the hypothesis in the level of significance 5%. The result showed that sales growth significant positive effect on capital structure and the value t hitung > t (2,1759 > 1,9719). Business risk no significant effect on capital structure and the value –t tabel hitung > -t ( -0,1043>1,9719). Asset structure also has no significant effect on capital structure and the value –thitung > -ttabel tabel (-1,4885>-1,9719) From the analysis performed in this research, it can be concluded that sales growth have significant effect to capital structure. While business risk and asset structure has no effect to capital structure Key words: sales growth, business risk, asset structure, and capital structure
