Abstract

ABSTRACT Eka Yulia Siregar, 2015: The Influence of Loan Portfolio, Market Capitalization, BOPO, and Loan Interest Rate onThe Non Performing Loan. This aims of this research is to determine the effect of loan portfolio, market capitalization, BOPO, and loan interest rate to Non Performing Loan. The factors examined in this research is loan portfolio, market capitalization, BOPO, and loan interestrate as an independent variable while the Non Performing Loan as the dependent variable. The study sample consisted of 24Indonesia conventional banking companies that were listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in period 20112013. The data used in this study are secondary data and selection of samples by purposive sampling method. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis at a significance level of 5%. The study found that the Portfolio of Shortterm Loan and Portfolio of Long-term Loanhas a negative and significant influenceto bank’s NPL. Market Capitalization and BOPO has a positive and significant influence to bank’s NPL. However, no evidence that the Portfolio of medium-term loan and Loan Interest Rate has significant results on the bank’s Non Performing Loan.
