Abstract

Dian Destinar, 2011; The Influence of Financing Policy, Dividend and Profitability on Investment Opportunity set This research aims to obtain the empirical proof concerning the influence of financing policy, dividend policy, and profitability to investment opportunity set. This research too 11 firm samples during 5 year of listed all companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) excluding financial service companies. The sample was chosen by purposive sampling method. The data analysis used multi logistic regression analysis. The data was taken from the financing policy, dividend policy, profitability, and investment opportunity set of the period from 2005 until 2009 in which of firm value the influence was examined in the following years. The result indicates that the impact between financing policy, proxied by market value of debt to equity to investment opportunity set is significantly negative but book value of debt to equity is not significant. The impact between dividend policy proxied by dividend payout ratio and dividend yield to investment opportunity set is not significant. The impact of profitability proxied by return on assets to investment opportunity set is not significant.
