Wulantika Oktariani, 2013; The Influence of Public Ownership, The Size of The Board of Commissioners, Profitability and Firm Age Toward Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure.; Advisors : (1) Unggul Purwohedi, SE, M.Si, Ph.D ; (2) Nuramalia Hasanah, SE, M.Ak. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of public ownerships, the size of the board of commissioners, profitability and firm age toward corporate social responsibility disclosure in the mining and metal companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). In this research, public ownerships as X1 measured by total public ownerships divide total outstanding shares, the size of the board of commissioners as X2 measured by total the board of commissioners, profitability as X3 measured by net profit margin, firm age as X4 measured by total age from company established and corporate social responsibility disclosure as Y measured by index from Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). This research used secondary data, namely financial statements and annual report of mining and metal companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2008-2011. The technique used for sampling is purposive sampling and obtained the total company of 13 firms with 52 sample total. The method used in this research is multiple linear regressions. From the analysis t test showed that public ownerships has negative influence and no significant toward corporate social responsibility disclosure. Firm age has no influence toward corporate social responsibility disclosure. Meanwhile, the size of the board of commissioners and profitability has positive and significant influence toward corporate social responsibility disclosure. Analysis F test showed that public ownerships, the size of the board of commissioners, profitability and firm age simultaneously have significant effect toward corporate social responsibility disclosure.
