Abstract
Scientific work aims to find out about the conduct of the impact exemption of import duty on raw materials of food (rice) for income 0f countries. And to know the reason why applied exemption of import duty on raw materials of food (rice). The method used in this research is descriptive analysis of the data collection methods trough the literature study, observations and interviews with profession import duty calculation. From the results of the writing can be seen that, Based on research, it is actually Indonesia a surplus of rice production from year to year. With these calculations, should Indonesia do not need to import rice and inflation is very high value of rice imports is the reason the government to maintain price stability.
