Abstract
This study aims to determine the significance of differences between the financial performance ratios of state banks and private banks in the period of 2013 by using the PEARLS . PEARLS method uses the ratio of protection , effective financial structure , asset quality , rates of return and costs , liquidity , signs of growth . The method used is quantitative secondary data collection methods . This study used two research samples the bank, Bank Tabungan Negara, Tbk to the to the Bank the Government and Bank Danamon Indonesia, Tbk, for the National Private Banks. Test results of this study found that there are significant differences of protection , effective financial structure , asset quality , rates of return and costs , liquidity , signs of growth between the Bank and the Government of the Private Bank . From these results it can be concluded that the protection ratios , and rates of return and costs, effective financial structure, and signs of growth of private banks is higher than government banks . But for effective asset quality is higher than Bank the Government for the National Private Banks. Keywords: Government bank, private bank, PEARLS method
