Abstract

NABILA CAHYA RAHMAWATI. The Influence Of Family Environment and Peer Groups Toward Juvenile Delinquency Student Of Class X Accounting SMK PGRI 1 Jakarta. Thesis. Jakarta. Study Program of Economic Education, Concentration of Accounting Education, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2018. This study aims to determine the influence between Family Environment and Peer Groups toward Juvenile Delinquency student of class XI Accounting in SMK PGRI 1 Jakarta by using empirical data which is valid and reliable. The research conduct at SMK PGRI 1 Jakarta. The research method is survey method with correlation approach. The affordable population in this study are students of class X Accounting consist of two classes amount to 120 students and sample used as many as 90 students by using proportional random sampling techniques. An instrument used to obtain data for variable X 1 (Family Environment), X 2 (Peer Groups) and Y (Juvenile Delinquency) measured using a questionnaire with likert scale. The result of data analysis showed that the data used in regression model is normally distributed (0,199 > 0,05) and linear (X 1 = 0,200 > 0,05 and X 2 = 0,063 > 0,05). The equation of multiple linear regression analysis in this study is . The result of this study showed that there is a significant influence between Family Environment and Peer Groups with Juvenile Delinquency shown by F-test calculation with F-count (12,029) > F-table (3,10) and significance value (0,000 < 0,05). Partially, there is a positive and significant influence between Family Environment (X 1 ) and Juvenile Delinquency (Y) based on t- test with t-count (3,836) > t-table (1,9878) and there is a positive and significant influence between Peer Groups (X 2 ) and Juvenile Delinquency (Y) based on t- test with t-count (2,786) > t-table (1,9878). The results of simple correlation coefficient test show that Family Environment with Juvenile Delinquency has a significance value of 0.007 < 0.05, Peer Groups with Juvenile Delinquency has a significance value of 0.006 < 0.05 which means there is a significant correlation. The result of a double correlation coefficient test (R) equal to 0,465 that means between Family Environment and Peer Groups with Juvenile Delinquency there is a strong relation with coefficient determination 21,7%, variable Y (Juvenile Delinquency) determined by variable X 1 (Family Environment) and X 2 (Peer Groups) of 21,7%. Based on data processing it can be concluded that the family environment and peer groups have a significant influence on juvenile delinquency. So there are some suggestions regarding this research for parents to be able to establish harmonious relationships in the family, for schools to create a positive environment for students, and for further research to consider variables that influence juvenile delinquency.
