Abstract

SUAYBATUL ASLAMIYAH. The Influence of Return On Asset And Current Ratio To Dividend Policy Empirical Study on Manufacturing Companies Listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2017. Script. Faculty of Economics. State University of Jakarta. 2018. The purpose this research is to determine the influence of Return On Asset And Current Ratio To Dividend Policy of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2017. The research method used is quantitative method with descriptive analysis procedure and statistical analysis with data analysis technique using regression test. This study uses secondary data obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2017. Variable X1 is return on asset as measured by divide net income and total asset, variable X2 is current ratio as measured by divide current asset and current liabilities. Meanwhile, variable Y is Dividend Policy as measured by proxy dividend payout ratio. Sampling technique used in this study by Simple Random Sampling. The affordable population in this study were all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange as well as having complete variables to be studied and the samples used on the Isaac Michael table with error level 5% were 51 firms reduce the outlier data 3 firms so, samples used were 48 firms. Regression equation in this research Y = 0,302 + 1,221X 1 + 0,027X 2 + ɛ . From the analysis shows that return on asset have a positive significant influence on dividend policy, where the value of Sig. < 0.05 of 0.000, but current ratio has no significant effect where the value of Sig. > 0.05 of 0.334. Simultaneously, the effect that occurs between Return On Assets, and Current Ratio is significantlyrelated to Dividend Policy in the manufacturing sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Ability between Return On Assets, and Current Ratio is significantlyrelated to Dividend Policy by 31.8%. Keywords: Return On Asset, and Current Ratio, Dividend Policy
