Abstract
Hana Virli Annisa, 2018: The Analysis of Factors that Influence Cash Holdings. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This research aims to examine the effect of firm size, leverage, dividend payment, growth opportunity, capital expenditure, and cash flow to cash holdings. This research used secondary data with the population of all companies listed in LQ-45 in the Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2012-2016. While the sampling method used was purposive sampling method, which is overall 145 observation choosen in 5 years. This research used panel data regression analysis method to test the hypothesis at 5% significant and using Eviews Version 8. From the analysis performed in this research, it can be concluded that firm size, leverage, and cash flow have a positive influence to the cash holdings, growth opportunity has a negative influence to the cash holdings. While capital expenditure and dividend payment have not influence to the cash holdings. Independent variables of this research are able to explain 79,34% to the cash holdings as a dependent variable.
