Abstract
MELINDA AYU LESTARI. The Influence of Firm Size, Liquidity, and Inflation Rate on Bond Yields Listed in The Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in The Period of 2014-2017. Faculty of Economics State University of Jakarta. 2018. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of firm size, liquidity and inflation rate on the yield of non-financial sector corporate bonds listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in The Period of 2014-2017. This study uses secondary data with data collection techniques documentation, among others in the form of bond trading data recorded on the trading system of the Indonesia Stock Exchange Capital Market Library (ICAMEL), the financial statements of companies listed on the BEI website, and inflation rate data which is contained on the BPS website. Determination of sample research using purposive sampling method. The method of data analysis using panel data regression analysis with Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach. The result of panel data regression analysis indicate that: (a) Firm size affects the yield of corporate bonds, (b) Liquidity does not affect the yield of corporate bonds, and (c) Inflation rate does not affect the yield of corporate bonds. This research has limitations, which is only limited to a span of four years, using only non-financial company samples with fixed rate coupons, and using only three independent variables. It is expected that further research can increase the time range used, expand the object of research, and add other variables, whether from internal or external factors.
