Abstract
ZUL FADLI ICHSAN. The Influence of External Financing and Characteristic of Entity Towards Financial Performance of Strategic Business Unit. The Faculty of Economic State University of Jakarta. 2018 This research purposed to describe external financing that represented as leverage and tangibility, characteristic of entity that represented as liquidity and size, also financial performance of strategic business unit. Then tested the influence of leverage, tangibility, liquidity, and size towards financial performance of strategic business unit. This research determined as correlational research that tested correlation between one variable into another. Using secondary data, this research use published annual report of strategic business unit on the website. The Method of data analysis using statistic descriptive analysis, regression of panel data, classical assumption analysis, and the goodness of fit. The result of data analysis shows that: (a) Leverage has negative significant influence towards financial performance of strategic business unit, (b) Tangibility has positive significant influence towards financial performance of strategic business unit, (c) Liquidity has no significant influence towards financial performance of strategic business unit, (d) Size has no significant influence towards financial performance of strategic business unit. The capacity of financial performance of strategic business unit explain leverage, tangibility, liquidity, and size based on adjusted r-squared is 21,1153% while the remain influenced by another variable that not include in this research.
