Abstract
ANALYSIS of NATIONAL STRATEGIC PROJECTS SUPERVISION PROCESS Study Case on Indonesia's National Government Internal Auditor (BPKP) Bonny Anang Dwijanto Supervisor: Mohammad Rizan, Agung Wahyu Handaru Magister Management Program Economy Faculty, Jakarta State University ABSTRACT National Strategic Project (PSN) consist of priority programs & projects which have strategic values for Indonesia welfare improvement, especially in rural areas and East Indonesia run by Ministries/ Agencies, BUMN/D, Local Government, and private sector that also earn huge cost with funding sources from the State/ Local Budget (APBN/D), State-owned Enterprises (BUMN/D), and Private Sector. To have punctual and well proper PSN, requires optimal supervision in controlling PSN acceleration performance. One important element in management to meet goals, mission or expected targets accomplished is Supervision. Supervision required from planning/ preparation phase, through implementation then reporting activities. This essential also apply in PSN acceleration governance. Indonesia's National Government Internal Auditor (BPKP), is Non Department Government Institution which responsible directly to the President and assigned to conduct internal supervisory over the state financial accountability and fostering the implementation of government internal control systems. On the subject of PSN controlled acceleration, BPKP assigned to run as controller in order to meet PSN acceleration governance supervision improved. This study objective is to provide profound understanding of National Strategic Projects Supervision Process in BPKP using qualitative-case study approaches. Based on observation and qualified interview in this study, PSN supervision process runs by BPKP is using Review Methods in every phase of PSN implementation governance. Review methods provide preeminent, fast, and accurate result by optimal IT engagement. Accelerated report provide by BPKP count as contributor for accelerated, sharp and punctual decision making or strategic steps for stakeholders.
