This study aims to analyze the effect of capital goods imports and employment on economic growth in ASEAN countries. The research method used is panel data regression analysis using time series data from 2010-2016 and cross section data of 10 ASEAN countries obtained from the World Bank or World Bank and using the random effect method. The data analysis technique used in this study is panel data regression analysis. Using the panel data regression analysis model, output shows that imports of capital goods (X1) didn’t significantly influence economic growth (Y) in ASEAN countries. Labor absorption (X2) has a significant effect on economic growth (Y) in ASEAN countries. Keywords: Economic Growth, Import of Capital Goods, Absorption of Labor, ASEAN Countries
