Abstract

HERAWATI. The Influence Between Service Quality and University Image on Student Satisfaction, Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. Jakarta: Business Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University, 2019. The aim of this study is to get the right knowledge to obtain empirical data and facts that are precise, accurate, valid, and reliable about the influence between University Quality and Image Quality on Student Satisfaction in Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. The data were collected over a period of Six months from January 2019 to July 2019. The research method used is a survey method with a quantitative approach, the population used is the Student of the Faculty of Economics at Jakarta State University. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. While the analysis technique of this study uses simple linear regression. The research hypothesis shows that: (1) There is a positive and significant influence between service quality on student satisfaction, this hypothesis is proven by the value of tcount (1,985)> ttable (1.97658). (2) There is a positive and significant influence between university image on student satisfaction tcount (3.369)> ttable (1.97658). The influence of service quality on student satisfaction is obtained from the results of the coefficient of determination obtained at 0.026. This shows that 2.6% of student satisfaction is influenced by the quality of service while the remaining 97.4% by other variables outside of this regression model. And the influence of university image on student satisfaction is obtained from the results of the coefficient of determination obtained at 0.072. This shows that 7.2% of student satisfaction is influenced by university image while the rest is 92.7% by other variables outside of this regression model.
