Abstract

ABSTRACT SUTISNA. The Correlation Relationship Between Self Esteem with Procrastination in Students College department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economic year 2008-2010, State University of Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta: Concentrations of Education Administrative Offices, Educational Studies Program in Economics, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2011. This research aims to detect correlation between Achievement Motivation with Procrastination This research is done during one months counted in November. Research method that used research technique descriptive method passes to approach correlational. Watchfulness population Students College department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economic year 2008-2010. Sample taking technique simple random proportion technique (proportional random sampling) as much as 95 samples. Instrument that used to get variable data X (Self Esteem) measuresed to use instrument test. For variable Y (Procrastination) measuresed to use instrument test too. Data analysis technique is begun with look for simple regression similarity and got regression similarity Y = 84,67 – 0,762X , while analysis rules test that is test 0,058< L normalitas regression estimation error Y on X with test liliefors got L 0,091, matters this means sample comes from population normal distribution. Significancy test and regression linearity by using analysis table varians (anava) got regression similarity F tabel hitung 29,48> F 3,96 that declare regression very mean with regression linearity test that produce Ftabel 0.60< F1,65 that show that regression model that used linear. Correlation coefficient hypothesis test is done with formula product moment produce r tabel as big as -0,491 this means connection between second variable enough strong. Significancy test with thitung as big as -5,43 and t as big as -1,68. Because thitung <-ttabel tabel , from watchfulness result so researcher can conclude that found connection significant between self esteem and procrastination at Students College department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economic year 2008-2010, State University of Jakarta.. Determination coefficient test produces KD as big as 24,07 %. matter this means variable variation Y to influenced by variable X as big as 24,07%, So can be taken conclusion found which are negative connection and significant between self esteem and procrastination.
