Abstract

FARADILLA KUSUMANINGRUM. Analysis of Government Audit Results and Corruption Levels in the Provincial Government in Indonesia. Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. 2019. Corruption is an act of self-defense or someone else who is a corporation that can harm the state's finance or the country's economy or misuse the opportunity or means available to him because of a position or position to benefit himself or others and can harm the state's finance or the country's economy. This study aims to examine the effect of Audit Findings, Audit Results Follow-Up, and Audit Opinion on the Level of Corruption in Provincial Governments in Indonesia. This study uses secondary data and purposive sampling method with a focus on the Provincial Government that has a High Prosecutor's Office with 78 sample observations with observation years 2016 - 2018 which are processed by panel data regression analysis using Eviews10. Based on the results of tests conducted, it can be concluded that the Audit Findings have a positive influence on the level of corruption. This explains that the audit findings obtained by BPK can reduce the high level of corruption. Then, the follow-up of the audit results has a negative effect on the level of corruption. The negative relationship explained that the more follow-up by the provincial government, the lower the level of corruption. While audit opinion has not been proven to affect the level of corruption. Keywords: Corruption Level, Audit Findings, Audit Results Follow-Up, Audit Opinion
