Abstract

Jemmy Lamani. The Relationship between communication and work motivation on employees at PT. Dasa Prakarsa Sejati in Secretariat division and Production and Operational division in Tangerang. Skripsi, Jakarta: Study Program Administration, Department of Economics and Business Administration, Faculty of Economics, University of Jakarta, June 2015. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between communication and work motivation on employees at PT. Dasa Prakarsa Sejati in Secretariat division and Production and Operational division in Tangerang. This study was conducted during the four months from March 2015 to June 2015. The method used was a survey with the correlational approach. The population is all employees of PT. Dasa Prakarsa Sejati amounting 107 people. Samples were all employees of PT. Dasa Prakarsa Sejati at Secretariat division totaling 35 people and employees at Production and Operational division totaling 25 people. The samples are 51 people with the use of simple random sampling. F test is known that the linear regression Fcount (1,08) < Ftable (2,01). Relationship of the positive relationship between communication and work motivation at employees PT. Dasa Prakarsa Sejati it can be shown from the tcount = 4,690 > ttable 1,67, meaning that the higher or effectiveness communication will increase work motivation, on the other hand, if the communication given low it will result in a decrease in work motivation. The value of the variable between communication and work motivation of Ŷ = 64,64 + 0,38X. Large variations in work motivation determined by the communication of 30,98%. The relationship between communication (variable X) with work motivation (variable Y) is linear and significant regression significant Fcount (21,99) > Ftable (4,08) and the linear regression Fcount (1,08) < Ftable (2,01). Work motivation at employees PT, Dasa Prakarsa Sejati is determined by the communication of 30,98% and 69,02% of the rest influenced by other factors such as office facilities, compensation and leadership style.
