Abstract

INDAH NADZIFAH JANNAH RUSTY. The Effect of Liquidity and Rentability to the Capital Adequacy Ratio of Banking Registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018. Skripsi, Jakarta. Economic Education Study Program. Accounting Education Concentration. Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. 2019. This study aims to obtain information and knowledge that is true, trustworthy and accountable about the effect of Liquidity and Profitability to the Capital Adequacy Ratio of Banks registered on the Indonesia’s Stock Exchange in 2018, both simultaneously and partially. The hypothesis of this study is that there is an influence between Liquidity and Profitability to Capital Adequacy Ratio. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with descriptive statistical analysis. The data analysis tool used is multiple regression analysis. The data analysis technique used is the test requirements analysis, regression equation test and hypothesis test. The sampling technique used is random sampling , namely as many as 40 banking companies. This study uses a loan to deposit ratio (LDR) to measure the liquidity variable and a BOPO ratio to measure the profitability variable. The results showed that LDR and BOPO simultaneously affect the capital adequacy ratio, where f arithmetic 6,599 is greater than f table 3,24. The partial result is that LDR do not affect the capital adequacy ratio, where t arithmetic -0,591 smaller than t table 2,026. While partial BOPO has a significant negative effect on the capital adequacy ratio, where t arithmetic 3,633 is greater than 2,026. The results of the regression equation are Y = 6,105 - 0,097X1 – 0,597X2. The ability between Liquidity and Profitability explains the Capital Adequacy Ratio of 26,3%. Keywords: Liquidity, Profitability, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR)
