Abstract

INDAH PERMATA SARI PIANI. Analysis of Factors That Affect The Indonesia’s Current Account Period 2010:Q1-2017:Q4. Economic Education, Faculty of Economy, State University of Jakarta, 2019. This study aims to determine the effect of exchange rates, domestic inflation and foreign inflation on the current account balance. The problem of the current account deficit that is increasingly widening is the basis of this research, the methods used are Error Correcion Model (ECM) and Ordinary Least Square (OLS) to determine the effects in the short and long term. The research shows several results, namely: (i) the exchange rate has a positive influence on the current account in the long term (ii) domestic inflation has a positive influence on the current account in the short term. While in the long term, domestic inflation has a negative influence on the current account and (iii) foreign inflation has a positive influence on current account in the short and long-term. Keywords: Current Account, Exchange Rate, Domestic Inflation and Foreign Inflation (RRC).
