Abstract
NIKA SELLA BR TARIGAN. Effect of Minimum Wages (UP), Government Education Expenditures (FP) and Health (FK) on Poverty (K) in East Nusa Tenggara Districts / Cities in 2013-2017. Economic Education, Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University, 2019. This study aims to determine the effect of Minimum Wages, Education and Health Government Spending on Poverty in East Nusa Tenggara District / City. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and the Directorate General of Indonesian Finance. Secondary data obtained in the form of data, the number of poor people in the District / City of East Nusa Tenggara, the minimum wage in the District / City of East Nusa Tenggara, the realization of government expenditure on education functions in the District/City of East Nusa Tenggara and the realization of government expenditure on education functions in the District/City City of East Nusa Tenggara in the span of 2013-2017 from 20 District/City. The method used is panel data linear regression. Based on the results of the chow test and the Hausman test, the best model is used through the Random Effect approach. The results found that the minimum wage has a significant effect on poverty. Next, government expenditure on education function has insignificant influence on poverty and health expenditure on government function has a significant influence on poverty. based on the results of the study it is necessary for government policy to reduce poverty in the District / City of East Nusa Tenggara.
