Abstract

Felisa Febiola, 2019; The Effect of Perceived Value Towards Purchase Intention With Consumer Engagement as a Mediator For BTS Album by Online Platform (A Survey with BTS Fans). Thesis, Jakarta: Management Studies Program, Management Department, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Advisory: Dra. Basrah Saidani, M.Si & Andrian Haro, S.Si, MM. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of perceived value towards purchase intention, the effect of perceived value towards consumer engagement, the effect of consumer engagement towards purchase intention and the effect of perceived value towards purchase intention with consumer engagement as the mediator for BTS album by online platform. The methods of collecting data was by collecting questionnaire by offline and online. The object of this study is 214 respondents that is a fan of BTS. The data analysis is using SPSS version 22 to running the data with the support of AMOS version 22. The result was showing that: 1) perceived value didn’t have a significant effect with purchase intention, 2) perceived value has a significant effect with consumer engagement, 3) consumer engagement has a significant effect with purchase intention, and 4) consumer engagement significantly has an effect as a mediator simultantly for the relationship between perceived value and purchase intention.
