Abstract

Irfan Agung Adhipramana, 2019; The Effect of Firm Performance, Board size and Board Meeting on Executive’s Compensation at Manufacturing Firms in Indonesia Listed on BEI. Thesis, Jakarta: Finance Concentration, Study Program of Management, Faculty of Economy, Jakarta State University. This study aims to determine the effect of company performance, board size and board meeting on executive compensation at manufacturing firms in Indonesia Listed on BEI with 216 units of resewarch samples. The independent variables are company performance (ROA and Tobin’s q), board size and the number of board meeting. The dependent variables is executive compensation. This study uses two control variables, which are firm size dan firm risk. The sampling method used in this study is purposive sampling technique. The models used in this study are random effect model and fixed effect model. The results of the study shows that both firm performance and board size have positive and significant effect on executive compensation on the next period whereas the number of board meeting has negative and significant effect on executive compensation on the next period.
