Abstract

ABSTRACT ANNEX MISSI THERESIA, Relation between Job Environment with Stress of the Employee at PT Mawatindo, Scipt, Jakarta : Study program of Office Administration Education, Majoring Economic and Administration Department, Faculty of Economy, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, July 2012. The purpose of this research is to get valid and reliable data about how far the relation between job environments with stress at PT Mawatindo. The duration is two month starting from June until July 2012, using survey method with correlation approach, the data from instrument which is obtain from employee’s at PT Mawatindo. This population research is all of program and evaluation employee at PT Mawatindo it is amount 82 employees. From 65 people this research data has been taken, with fault level 5%. Resourced technique used simple random. Collecting data of X variable (Job environment) and Y variable (Stres), the instrument using Likert scale, then the validity test of construct through validation process, calculation of item score coefficient correlation with total score and test of reliability using formula of Alfa Cronbach. Reliability data of X variable (Job environment) is 0,910 and Y variable (stress) is 0,933 The analysis test by searching equation of regression, Y=165,84 - 0,551 X. then analysis test by normality error of regression prediction Y of X by using Liliefors formula and the result in Lo (0,0871) < L (0,1074). This mean error of regression prediction Y of X has a normal distribution. Furthermore, the hypothesis research test is for regression significant test, and the result is Ft count (21,26) > F (3,99). That shows that, its has significant regression. While the regression linearity test result in F count (1,70) < F (1,80) this mean that regression model in this research is linear. Correlation coefficient test of the Product Moment result in rr xy 2 -0,502 and t test (-4,61) < table t table (-1,669) it is mean job environment has negative significant relation with stress at PT Mawatindo.
